Rest.Relax.Reset
More than a treatment. A chance to reset. Experience personalised Bowen Therapy and NIS in a peaceful space designed to help you restore balance, reduce stress, and feel your best.
BOWEN THERAPY
Bowen Therapy is a gentle, hands-on therapy that uses a series of precise rolling movements over muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissue. These gentle moves stimulate the body's nervous system and encourage the body's natural ability to restore balance, relax and heal.
During your appointment, you will remain comfortably clothed in loose-fitting clothing. Your practitioner will perform a sequence of gentle Bowen moves, with short pauses between each set. These pauses are an important part of the treatment, allowing your body time to respond and integrate the work.
Many people find a Bowen session deeply relaxing. Some notice changes during the treatment, while others experience gradual improvements over the following days as the body continues to respond.
…in essence, the Bowenwork practitioner is a facilitator not a manipulator

Neurological
Integrative Systems (NIS)
Neurological Integration System (NIS) is a gentle, non-invasive approach that focuses on supporting communication between the brain, nervous system and body. Developed to assess how the nervous system is processing information, NIS aims to identify areas where communication may be disrupted and encourage the body's natural ability to restore balance.
The underlying principle of NIS is that the brain coordinates every function of the body. When the nervous system is under stress or not processing information efficiently, it may affect how the body adapts and functions. Using gentle muscle response testing and specific correction techniques, NIS seeks to help the nervous system recognise and respond to these areas of imbalance.
Each session is tailored to your individual needs. The assessment is gentle and non-invasive, and many people find the experience relaxing and calming. NIS is used as a complementary therapy to support overall health and wellbeing
NIS may assist with -
Improved nervous system regulation
Better adaptation to physical and emotional stress
Enhanced overall wellbeing
Greater energy and vitality
Improved body awareness and function
A greater sense of balance and resilience
Client Reviews
My frozen shoulder was gone! It’s been 12 months since I saw Stacey, and till no pain.
BernieBowen really helped with my insomnia. I even fell asleep on the table. I find it really helpful with my stress levels and can feel it working on a deeper level.

I tried everything to help with my neck pain and had no expectations coming in to try Bowen therapy. I’m not sure what happened, but three sessions in, I feel the best I’ve felt in years. Powerful stuff.
